Support the Immune System: Hawaiian Noni fruit contains a number of enzymes (proteins) and alkaloids that are believed to play a pivotal role in good health. Scientists speculate that there may be a number of different agents that act in a synergistic manner. Research indicates that Hawaiian Noni fruit stimulates the immune system.

Stress reduction and Mood enhancement: Laboratory tests showed that Noni fruit binds with serotonin. Low serotonin levels in the brain are linked to mood levels.

When serotonin levels are raised, some people may experience stress reduction and mood enhancement. Noni fruit has no known side effect.

Dr. Joseph Betz, a research chemist with the FDA's Division of Natural Products Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition states that Morinda citrifolia (Noni) has been tested for a number of biological activity in animal. He reports that the dried fruit has a smooth muscle stimulatory activity and tranquilizing activity.

Relief of minor pain: In a 1990 study, a group of French scientists (Younos, C., Rolland, J., Fleurentin M. and Nbsslin, R.) set out to determine the validity of the traditional use of the Noni plant for relief of minor pain. The conclusion was that Noni did in fact demonstrate for relief of minor pain consistently in each experiment and had no side effects.
